Basic Info?

Hey i was wondering if there was any info out there (besides the 2 cpanel.pdf and whm.pdf files) that would tell me more about the way cpanel works. those two files are really basic.
I'm the system admin for our systems and i dont know anything about cpanel or whm. i was looking for something that talks more about how cpanel actually works, from install to maintnance. please let me know if anyone could help me out. thanks.
