I need to extract BCC recipients information over last 15 days from the logs for a user account that sent out email from the server.

In exim_mainlog all address are listed as for, and I can't find a fix pattern to sort the recipient on the basis of To:, CC: or BCC:.

Is there as way or pattern to watch, or method to extract the BCC information?

Current log_selector is defined as:

log_selector = +arguments +subject +received_recipients

Thanks in advance for providing useful information in this regard.

From what I can see, simply enabling received_recipients does not show if the message was sent as a bcc one to a recipient. The only discussion I could really find was the following:

detecting a bcc message | exim | users

This is from 2006 and the names of the ACLs appear to have changed. I would highly suggest posting on exim.org mailing list for this question, since they are the experts on what options are available.

Thanks Tristan, you gave me a point to start with, for the past logs.

BTW few years back, we deployed unseen delivery as

if first_delivery
and ("$h_to:, $h_cc:" contains "@domain.com")
or ("$h_from:" contains "@domain.com")
then
unseen deliver "[email protected]"
endif
to catch all incoming and outgoing email.

Is there a way to catch and list bcc recipients in real time using similar method?
