I've read that disabling mod_userdir tweak is not recommended. But I need to access other domains on the server using the following:
https://server1.somehostingserver.com/clientdomain.com/

Which httpd conf file can I modify to create aliases similar to the URL above.

I don't particularly like using https://server1.somehostingserver.com/~cpanelusername/.

Thanks in advance.

Why not simply create a parked subdomain on the main server's domain (so subdomain.somehostingserver.com) for each account to use as a temporary url? Using a parked subdomain for the account would allow viewing the site using a temporary url but still work due to having an existing DNS entry.
