Our current cPanel implementation is hosted on a FreeBSD server, and cPanel has ended support for FreeBSD.
So, we're in the process of planning a migration to a CentOS 6 VPS, and I have some questions about the proper way to proceed with the migrations.
First, the websites (the users home directories) are mounted via NFS from a Netapp. So, I already have all the non-SQL content mounted on the new server...it's just a matter of having the configuration and databases migrated for each site.
Is there a best practice for handling this? I've not migrated accounts from one cPanel server to another before, and I'm a little uncertain as to how it should be handled when you have shared storage.
