Best way to go about restoring my files?

Hi there,

Nightmare weekend. Server hard drive suffered a fault which corrupted the filesystem. Luckily the server tech was able to recover my home directory and mysql directory.

So what would be the best way to get everything back up and running.

The files are currently being transferred back to the server and Cpanel is being installed.

My thoughts would be to manually recreate all the domains, databases, emails etc then I can shut down mysql and apache transfer the files and databases to where they should be and then restart everything.

If anyone can see an issue with that please let me know it would be very helpful.

Restoring the accounts from backups generated through cPanel/WHM is the ideal way to ensure your accounts are working again. Do you have any backups of your accounts available to restore?
