So I am moving my VPS to another provider.. and I have access to change the domains NS hostname/ip's that it points to. When I got my new vps system i setup new name servers but somehow those grabbed the ips from my old provider, even though i deleted the name servers over at the old provider.. I'm so lost. :(

I could be waaaay off base here, but I thought you couldn't delete nameservers that were listed for any domain name. Do any domain names actually use these dns?
