big problems with server

    Dear,

    I have some big problem with my server.
    Cpanel is realy buggy laltely,
    now i can't install any rpm anymore or update the CPanel Software.
    The outgoing mail is also bouncing. I also can't rebuild the rpmdatabase.
    This al came since the last release_158 (updateing is not possible anymore) :mad:
    plz help me out guys. :eek: :confused:

    not sure but it seems your /etc/resolv.conf file is dead or corrupt..

    open it and see if there are still ns servers..

    if these are not there the server can't resolve to the outside world and can't contact cpanel server etc...

    if the ip's are gone then contact datahouse for those and put them back there

    this sounds serious dns/bind issue. i think you need to hire a sys admin to fix that for you. i tried servetune.com many times and these guys rock.

    lol the dnsservers are ok....
    But i want to know what is going wrong soo i can fix this big problem

    If you want to rebuild rpm please have a look at the link

    Also you can rebuild your rpm through WHM.
    Did you check the mail log?. if yes, What error did you get from the mail log?.
