    hi,

i am not sure if this is the right place to post. this is a billing related question

i am currently running a VPS server with around 20 VPS in the server. these VPS currently run VPS license from a distributor.

what i am interested to know.
    1. Cpanel license are licensed by per server or by per IP address.
    2. would a server license fit this scenario? since all 20 VPS resides in the same server.
    3. is there any option to buy VPS license rather than lease the license?

    thanks!

You mean a dedicated server with 20 VPSs on it.

    1. The cPanel license is per dedicated server or VPS. The cPanel license is assigned to the main IP of a dedicated or VPS only.

    2. You'll have to purchase a license for every VPS resides/installed on the dedicated server.

    3. You'll have to contact billing@cpanel.net and they'll help you. Overall, if you have any questions about licenses, contact the cPanel sales department using the email address mentioned earlier..

    thats right!

meaning i would just need to purchase a dedicated server license to replace all VPS license?

does it affect if all VPS is given an IP address?

    thanks!
