I need to know, which Credit Card Gateways people use to bill their customers for cpanel...

Currently me and my team are writing a fully integrated Cpanel Billing system that will be ready for release next month... To make the program compatible with peoples current providers, We are integrating such payment gateways as

    Ibill
    Authorize.net

Any other major ones people use?

but which ones are used most?

Which ones allow Calls from CGI scripts, or ofter API's... I know Paypal used too, but then the customer has to register with pay pal before they are allowed to signup with the hosting provider... that makes things less seemless

    I recommend www.2Checkout.com
They even let you customize the order page with your header and footer.

ok, so I'll try to integrate those modules....

Before I finish the entire program though, would anyone be interested in this program?

    it
    -Supports Multiple Servers
    -Has 4 user levels
    ---Customer
    ---Level 1 Billing
    ---Level 2 Billing
    ---Administration
    -Templatable
    -Automatically sends out monthly emails
-Allows customers to view their invoices online.
-Allows automatic charge for over bandwidth,

and whatever else I can think of.

    Let me know

Interesting. Maybe add following (important when having resellers): Package contains X domains, Y nameservers, Z bandwidth etc. Additional items are charged extra. Add items to reseller and let the script calculate ;)

    that sounds good as well...

    I'll keep taking more suggestions

For two of the features in this system to work, I'll need to get nick to modify Cpanel::Accounting to allow me to do a few more things.. but thats in the future still

Gorgo, hopefully yours won't be one of those great ideas that never sees the light of day.

Good luck and we look forward to seeing a working demo of your billing system sometime in August [I took the date from your post above]. ;)

Do you believe that, this new software could be used in production environment after its first release?

    But I'm not sure.

Since the software is currently being built and tested on a live production server, most major flaws will be worked out by time we release the public beta....

Like all released software it will have bugs in it (needless to say about 99% less then any MS product ;) )

But we'll see, keep watching for the public Beta

    PlugnPay

Plug nPay would be nice. I can get you all the integration specs, etc and contacts, if you would be so kind. It is based upon authorizenet's module, so should not be difficult. We would be VERY appreciative. We have up to 500 isps using cpanel and would LOVE to get ahold of a billing script incorporated into this.

We use PaySystems (through Revecom). We also use Quickbooks Pro 2k for accounting.

    another gateway

please add cambist.com to the list of gateways?

    folks,
we use cambist.com as our gateway for numerous clients, they're cheap (price actually has dropped over the years), fast, very easily scripted to, and very helpful support via email or phone (we've had the same contact there for three years for all situations).
    my 2 cents. -paul

Ever heard of ISP Power? That one is about the best one I have seen. Pretty pricey though at $35,000 for the newest version. They changed the name too to something other than ISP Power and I am having a &senior moment& and forget what it is called.
