    try
    /etc/rc.d/init.d/named stop
    /etc/rc.d/init.d/named start

    or
    /scripts/restartsrv_named

    or
    /usr/sbin/named -u named -c /etc/named.conf
assuming the configuration files are as given in the command.

you can download ssh program such as putty, this program is free from the web. this is one of the site that you can download putty http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html
putty is the ssh software work with your Windows local machine, then you can access your linux web server by typing your IP, root id and root password.

Please, don't issue any command at the prompt unless you know what you are doing. FreeBSD with BIND are not very friendly and you need to be extra careful, otherwise you'll do more damage than repair.

PM me if you need help!
