what i thought was a php error was really a bind error. whenever i goto a site i can see the index. but when you try to goto another file or directory there is a dns error.

check the /scripts/ directory for a script to re-install bind (if one exists)

then try running (of course always back up named.conf) and httpd.conf

    /scripts/fixndc

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

    /etc/init.d/named start

    tail -f /var/log/messages

    Do you get any errors?
