    Hello guys,

    Can anyone tell me some basic/generals steps to secure the "bind" service ? Cos' i've searched for bind security at cpanel and i've found a few things, nothing very important.

    The most important thing is probably to disable recursive lookups:

    Also, make sure that you do not use 127.0.0.1 as a resolver in /etc/resolv.conf.

    And of course make sure that you are running the latest distribution for your OS, or upgrade it if your OS is EOL.
