    Hi there,

Recently, after recompiling kernel I cannot get Named to work:

    Attempting to restart bind
    Waiting for bind to restart.... . . . . . . . . . . finished.
/etc/rc.d/init.d/named: line 112: 20622 Segmentation fault /usr/sbin/rndc status bind status
    bind started ok

I have tried rebuilding rmp and such, however it still does not work.

Any help would be greatly appritiated!

    Cretu

I cannot remember exactly - but I think ours was down to a disk error and running a repair on it solved it ;)

If I remember correctly - we also had bad memory in the server which was swapped out.

    Good luck
