    Hi,

Blackberry customers have stopped receiving mail form our server. This is the third time in last two months that it has happened. Last time we had restarted the server and it began working. why it is happening frequently ?? what could be the problem ??

    Hello,

If this is a reoccurring problem, I would suggest opening up a support ticket with us so that the problem can be properly troubleshooted by our Analysts. Such an issue would require remote access so the forums aren't really a proper venue.

We have gotten one report from a client who can no longer receive e-mails on a Blackberry, however others can receive fine.

Re:Blackberry Email Problem / Firewall and connection requirements for the BlackBerry

After adding below CIDR in csf.allow csf server firewall, all seems working fine no complaints after that.

To provide proper communication between the BlackBerry Internet Service and the email messaging
environment, the following Internet Protocol (IP) ranges must be allowed to communicate with the BlackBerry® Infrastructure.

Note: The IP ranges listed in the table are in classless interdomain routing (CIDR) notation.

    206.51.26.0/24
    193.109.81.0/24
    204.187.87.0/24
    206.53.144.0/20
    216.9.240.0/20
    67.223.64.0/19
    93.186.16.0/20
    68.171.224.0/19
    74.82.64.0/19

Re: Blackberry Email Problem / Firewall and connection requirements for the BlackBerr

    Hi,

My server admin said he has whitelisted the above given IPs in the KB still the email service is not getting configured on the blackberry device. Is there anyway by which we can check if the IP range has been whitelisted ? Also any other solution.... ???

Any response or experience is welcome

    Thanks a ton
