looking through my firewall logs, i see quite a number of port scans coming from a particular mac address, each with a different i.p.
I can't see that csf will permanently block by mac address.
Does WHM have anything that will ?

    Hello,

No, CSF is only able to block IP address, It's not possible to block MAC Address with the CSF rules. If you are getting all IP's from single range then I will suggest you block that whole range on your server

It's coming from China, and obviously using a number of different proxy's as the IP range is all over the place, but always the same MAC address.
I'm very surprised that blocking via a mac address isn't available.
This would stop them in their tracks, (for a while anyway)

In the short term, i've blocked CN until i can come up with a better solution.

    Hello :)

I believe ConfigServer has a "Suggestions" forum if you want to request a specific feature such as MAC address filtering.

    Thank you.
