Block limit / Inode limit exceed

    Hi,

    We have server A and server B. Both server using cPanel. All domain will hosted in server A while server B is mail for domain on server A.

    Every time domain sending email from server A, it will goes thru server B. Today we facing some issue. We saw error one of email account on mail server (server B) show mailbox full / block limit exceed /inode limit exceed.

    We have check both server for that particular account and the free space is big on whm/cpanel. We do not know where need to check. Please advice.

    Hi,

    I think server disk space or inode is full.You can check using below command on the server.
    Login to server through ssh and run below command

    df -h
    df -i

    We have check. Inode is below 50% and space show below 80% on both server.

    You are facing this issue with only one account or all accounts ?
    Also, let me know which OS installed on the server. CentOs or CloudLinux ?

    OS using Centos 6.8 Final. We are facing with a few account in few domain.

    Hi,
    I think you are using CloudLinux. Can you please recheck the OS using below command.

    Code:
    cat /etc/redhat-release
    If OS is CloudLinux then you have to increase inode limit in your package

    Has the cPanel user or email account reached it's quota limit?

    In the cPanel Email Accounts interface, you should be able to see the quota for each email account for the cPanel account.

    From WHM/cPanel, we can see limit not reach yet.

    This is the one of account that still stuck in que.

    Run the /scripts/fixquotas script and see if it fixes the issue.
