Hi,

Is there any way to allow outgoing mails only from the local domains? Some of the users are using our SMTP server to send mails from the domains which are not hosted with us.

I tried to look around in exim settings but could not find anything.

Thanks
Deep

Hey thanks but that won't actually block the messages, it will just change the header. Yes, this will work fine in case of normal mails but in case of virus attack, the server won't block such mails. I have ASSP Deluxe installed on one of my other servers and it takes care of this settings, so I was wondering if cPanel has some option to do it then it would be great.

Hello :)

You could likely implement some custom ACL rules for this type of setup. However, if you prefer to use supported settings in cPanel, then the following options under the "Security" tab in "WHM Home » Service Configuration » Exim Configuration Manager" may be useful to you since you mentioned a virus attack:

Scan messages for malware from authenticated senders (exiscan).
Scan outgoing messages for malware

Thank you.
