    Hi all,

    What a superb forum! :)

I've recently taken on a new dedicated server, so I'm still learning!

I'm not sure if I'm overlooking this, but I'd like to block all .zip files being e-mailed to all domains through my dedicated-server, is this possible?

This is really due to the large amounts of e-mails being received with .zip attachments that are being sent through it that contain malicious virus infected .zip packages.

If so, can anyone point me to the settings? I can't find the wood for the trees! :D

    Thanks. :)

blocking zip files is bad practice.

i'd suggest installing clam antivirus + exiscan(if you have load problems) or clam + mailscanner.

that way you scan the mails for viruses, and only block bad attachments (like scr, vbs, com, bat).

    Thanks Jester. :)

I've noticed in the 'Add on Modules' in the WHM, what I think is Clam AV, but after trying to install I get this:

It doesn't seem to install properly though after several attempts to do so - can you advise why this may be?

    Thanks.
