I get thousands of visits from these guys. They keep trying to spam my phpBB forum. They have several IP addresses, some are:

    151.1.0.0 - 151.100.255.255
    195.0.0.0 - 195.255.255.255
    87.0.0.0 - 87.255.255.255
    213.0.0.0 - 213.255.255.255

How do I block ranges of IP addresses to keep these guys out? I need a simple solution, I'm not a geek.

    Thanks!

In the cPanel interface, in the "Security" section click on "IP Deny Manager." Here you can block IP addresses from being able to access your website. You may enter the IP ranges in the form to block entire IP ranges.

Note, RIPE is a RR encompassing all of Europe (similar to ARIN which handles North America). Those IPs are likely allocated to individual data centers. If you desire, you can determine who those IPs belong to by performing a WHOIS search at:

    www.db.ripe.net/whois
