Hi,

I have a client with cpanel account. The problem we are getting is that whenever they write an email, if that email doesn't reach it's destination (bad email address, for example) the email doesn't bounce back.

If I have catch all forwarder, the bounced emails go there, but the sender doesn't get any clue that the email sent didn't reach it's destination.

Could a postmaster or other forwarder be causing this? Could it be spamassassin?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

If the admin on the other end can't find anything about those messages, make sure first that he/she's looking hard enough. Make sure as well that the email address is correct as the receiving user may have a :blackhole: set for a default address on that domain. It is also possible that the receiving end has a mail queue with 200,000 messages and the message in question is simply lost amongst thousands of spams.
