box trapper not working?

    Box trapper appears to not be working on my server.

    I have it enabled for all email accounts and tested it out. I sent from a non whitelisted email and it went through fine.

    I ran

    /scripts/updatenow
    /scripts/fixcommonproblems
    /scripts/upcp --force
    /scripts/eximup

    Spam Assassin is enabled, box trapper fully enabled and no email filtering in Mail section either. SA score is set to 6.25

    Any ideas?

    Anyone able to duplicate this? Seems like nothing in the past was posted in the forum about this.

    click on configure settings

    "Email addresses going to this account (comma seperated list)" rasabatino@domain.com
    How many days should logs and messages in queue be kept 15

    Click on Edit Forward/White/Black/Ignore Lists

    Forward list: empty
    White List: nice lengthy list, but the domain I sent a test email from was blacklisted and not in the white list nor ignore list

    Click on review log: empty for current /previous days
    Same (empty) for review queue.


    Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

    Did you try Spam Assassin disabled?
    I'm not using Spam Assassin any more since there is Boxtrapper... :)

    Bad move. edge has some major issues with permissions. Unfortunatly you cannot go back either as those changes are not undone.

    no its ok ... no changes in permissions or anything.
    Maybe for you, but Ive always used edge, I gt tired of all the other bugs

    We've always used edge as well. Check the changelog, cPanel made extensive changes to file permissions some of which break applications like fantastico, etc....

    Yes, this is true. The edge version broke fantastico.

    You need to chmod 644 httpd.conf and /var/cpanel/users/*

    You need to chmod 755 also /var/cpanel/users

    The problem is the error with mysql connection. Still looking at this problem.

    I hope Cpanel and Fantastico will work together.

    Ive just updated to the latest CURRENT release and on one of our servers Box Trapper is playing up and mail isnot being delivered.

    the mail just sits in the queue and returns the following error:

    Ive done a sysup, a forced upcp and eximup and still no joy

    anyone have any suggestions>?

    Remove the pro addon and then reinstall

    it should fix your errors :)

    My box trapper since the new release is on most emails that it traps doesn't show a from address and an email subject .... only a date that is clickable... when I click the date it takes me to the approval page with all the options but no message or details of the email. I only know that an email was sent at a specific time....

    Other issues I have noticed is that editing the white list when hitting save returns to a page not found error....

    another issue is that when I click the option to auto whitelist in configure area it will not save the checkmark in that option. I return to the configure page and the option is unchecked.

    Upgrade to Current Version and your problem will go away :)

    I have the same issue.. and I put in a ticket with cPanel..
