BoxTrapper - Forward List (Web UI not working)

I'm trying to add an e-mail address to the "forward list" on for one of the accounts using BoxTrapper. When I click the "Save" button, I'm directed to a page that says it's "Not Found". This is probably a bug in cPanel somewhere that needs to be addressed; but that's not what this post is about..

I have SSH access to my cPanel host. I'm wondering if anybody knows if there is a away to.. say.. create a file in the correct directory with the correct format that will in a sense duplicate what the script is supposed to accomplish? So that I can make those settings changes while waiting for the fix?

Thanks!

PS> My host is using cPanel v11.28.76

Hello,

When you use cPanel > BoxTrapper > Manage (next to email account or main account mail line) > Forward List area, it creates a file called forward-list.txt that contains the email account to forward to at the following paths:

Main cPanel account - /home/username/etc/.boxtrapper/forward-list.txt
Individual email account - /home/username/etc/domain.com/emailuser/.boxtrapper/forward-list.txt

Above you would replace username with the cPanel username, domain.com with the domain name, and emailuser with the email account name for the paths. Simply create the forward-list.txt file at the right location and put the email account to be forwarded to in the file and it should function to accomplish that task.

Thanks.

Thanks. I was having the same problem. ISP is looking into getting a patch from cPanel to fix the bug. But in the mean time, adding the forward-list.txt file is sufficient for me for now. It does seem to work.
