Hi
My web host uses Cpanel and I've been using SpamAssassin and now Boxtrapper Spam Trap, which seems to work ok. I've been testing it just to make sure it actually works. I have a mail account at work which runs on Microsoft Exchange V6.5 from which I sent mail to my web host mail account which would be, for example [email protected] Now when I send mails to this address from Gmail, Hotmail etc it seems to work fine but mails sent from the Exchange based address do also get the verification mail back but the From: address is incorrect. For exmple a verify message sent to gmail...

...where the From: address should be [email protected] but it's Cpanel username @ My mailserver name which will confuse the end user and they cannot reply to that. My web host support guys are VERY good but on this one they say,
"Boxtrapper is a binary that builds headers on its own and there is really no way for us to modify how the headers are getting created. There must be something in the headers that the exchange server is not picking up on or an issue with the exchange server itself. I have yet to see another issues with a customer reporting this or a bug report from cpanel reporting this issue." and "I checked all options and there is not much that can be customized in boxtrapper. Unfortunately there is nothing we can change from our end."
So I now reckon I should disable BoxTrapper altogether in case this causes a problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Been able to fix this? Able to offer advice?
Regards
