:p I am so new to this. I just signed up for the reseller thing a few days ago. I thought it looked simple, but now I feel over my head. I don't know where to begin. Does anyone have any simple instructions for me?

I know how to get into the WHM. When I click list accounts... it doesn't list any. I see the \.net$ in the find field, but have no idea what that means.

I just figured out how to create a package. SO I went to create a new account. I created a new account and can't find it anywhere.

I'm on my knees begging, anyone... anyone at all... little help here. Thanks!

Same here! New reseller needs basics

I am in the same exact boat. I have been reading the manual located at: http://www.cpanel.net/docs/whm/ and am using: WHM 4.9.0
Cpanel 4.9.0-60
RedHat 7.2
I've been scouring these boards looking for some basic instructions but haven't seemed to find any really.
My current problem? I was given access to WHM. I already had an account with my webhost. I took a look in 'List Accounts' and my current account with them is not listed there. &View Bandwirdth Usage& also shows nothing. I contacted my host and they referred me to the forums here to learn the 'basics'. So my question is this: shouldn't &b&my&/b& current package show up in WHM? Otherwise it would lead me to believe that my host has accidently given me another account with them. (As a reseller, when you logged into WHM for the first time, did it show the package (space, bandwidth, domain name) you were signed up for with your host?)
I also noticed that the numerical address that I access my WHM with is NOT the same as my domain. Surely this setup isn't right?
Thanks in advance for any help that you guys can offer!

One huge suggestion for the Admins... is it possible to set-up just a reseller forum for WHM? That would really help those of us out here that are just getting our feet wet, not to mention unclutter this board for the main hosts.

Sincerely,
Miss S.

Same with me Miss

:p My main account doesn't show up in the list accounts section either. I did finally figure out how to get an account listed, took me giving my password away to a computer friend to get it.

My host said you should be able to add you main account as an account and have it show up, but that hasn't worked for me. I can't see what I am at bandwith wise or anything.

Isn't there anyone who could point us in the right direction? I'd pay for a tutor!

You'll need to have the host change ownership of your account to you.
