    Hi,

One of my servers has been attacked and every since occurance of index.html / index.php has been replaced with a javascript to another site (arabic) ... i am gradually recovering my clients sites through WHM however no-one not even myself is able to access the themes for cpanel, i've tried setting from x to x3 and some of the others, an example of the links is displayed

    Code:
    http://penguincs.co.uk:2082/frontend/x3/index.html
    Capture.JPG

can anyone offer any advice as to how to restore the cpanel index files ... i've done a force update from SSH and have regained root access ... i have got a security firm going over the server as we speak but this is an issue i am unsure on how to fix and the DC want $50 just to resolve the issue.

    Please Help

    D

    50 bucks is too cheap.

They got into your server, not just a website on it. My opinion? New server is in order. This one is toast. How can you trust it?

I agree in info pro, unfortunately a new server install would be the best option. Not worth having the same thing happen and make all of you clients upset yet again.
