Brute Force Attacks & Cpanel Mods

You Win I will go pay for the answer, but you wont get the money you already get to much of it already, I would really like to know what the hell the 30 bucks a month per server is for cpanel.

As you see I have removed the quetion, you were not going to answer.

Lets see that is four servers at 30 bucks a month per server that comes to 1440 a year just for Cpanel and Fantasico.

And you wonder why I choose that user name.

What a waste of money, you should reduce your price.

With an attitude like this, you're going to get a bad experience; unlike the rest of us (thousands) who have been using cPanel successfully for years.

This is a voluntary discussion forum and not the place to go for actual cPanel support. Most of the people replying here aren't cPanel staff.

    disappointed....

I've yet to find a control panel as far reaching as CPANEL, and so well maintained....I won't go into the others... :)

From my experience, if you are having Brute Force Attacks, your Hosting Data Center should get involved. Many times they are directed not toward your server, but at the HDC.

Also, Chirpy's Firewall (recommended in a previous post) is VERY VERY GOOD!

Also, if you put in a ticket at CPANEL, they will typically respond quickly...maybe not as quickly as you would like, but as quickly as they can.....

I've never seen a more dedicated, knowledgeable staff as the CPANEL workforce.......and I've worked with a bunch in my 30 plus years as a programmer.

Before you do something rash & burn bridges, you may wish to:

    1) Set realistic expectations.
    2) Follow proper procedures. This board is not a CPANEL support board, but a community with a wide range of expertise (from novice to expert) that if the choose to assist, they will do so happily.
    3) Keep everything professional. A professional question will get a professional response here. I've been very surprised at how many experts on this board are willing to donate their time for FREE to assist (as well as grateful).

I hope you find this helpful.
