    Logged into WHM:

    1. click List accounts
    2. Click cpanel icon to go into the account's cp
    3. click Backups
    4. click 'Generate/Download a Full Backup'
    5. leave backup destination set to Home Folder and perform backup

What happens now is that the site's access to mysql is broken. Site visitors will receive an access denied error message. The way to fix this is to go back into whm and reset the site's password.

has this been brought to anybody's attention?

This is a known issue and will be handled in future updates. The problem stems from the Full backup attempting to do a backup of the databases, via MySQL dump. This is currently incompatible with the Reseller login over-ride.

So, if I login as the site owner I won't have this problem?
