    Hello
    I upload a file name config.cgi
    This file contain a variable $password="xxxx";
    I modify this to $password="yyyyy"; I press save, and If I edit again the
    $password is transformed in "my cpanel password".
    I think this is a bug.
    WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.0-S35

    You need to be 100% sure that this problem is the cPanel and not your script. Are you using the same password for the script and the cPanel? Double check on the variables, local paths and procedures in your script. Make sure there is no conflict. If the problem persists, contact the cPanel support for help, or submit a bugzilla report.
