    When I try to add a parked domain, I get this error:

    Parked Domain Additions

    Sorry, you are not allowed to park common domains. 1.1.1.1,1.1.1.2
    Bind reconfiguring on s01 using rndc
    Created DNS entry for domain.com

    Setup Mail forward domain1.com > domain2.com
    Setup domain.com OK
    Adding httpd.conf entry for domain1.com to point to domain2.com

    Yet, it still adds the parked domain. Why would it say you are not allowed to park common domains but do it anyways? I'm confused. Is this a bug? :mad:

    I have a problem, a client has been setup a parked domain to another, and he wants to move this parked domain to another one.

    THen I've UnParked from my root whm cpanel, and park it again in the another domain but it says:

    Parked Domain Additions

    domain.com is already configured.

    and I can't see the domain in the list of parked ones, also the domain doesn't work:

    There is no website configured at this address.

    where's the file in linux to do it manually? or any solution, please

    Did you check the "ServerAlias" section of the particular domain in the httpd.conf file?
    If no add the domainname there.

    Also check the /var/cpanel/users/<file of the particulardomain user>

    check the following entry

    DNS1=domainname [This value may be varied]

    If there is no entry like DNS1 or DNS2 add a entry
    ====================
    DNS1=domainname
    ====================

    Then check the user cpanel

    May be it will help you to solve this issue.

    To comment on the original post in this thread....

    I am still getting this error on all servers. "prevent users from parking common domains" is selected in the tweak settings. This has only recently started happening and it doesnt stop the park from actually working.

    If you can recreate the problem, have you added it into bugzilla to make cPanel aware?

    Recreate ? Its happening on all of our cpanel servers and we have 36 of them.

    Are you saying that cpanel ISNT already aware of this problem ?

    I have no idea if they're aware as I haven't search bugzilla to see if you or anyone else has logged it as a bug. If they or you haven't then they may well not be. It's entirely possible that its unique to a particular server environment.

    The original problem posted in this thread is as follows...

    If any user tries to park or addon - during the process they always get the error "Sorry, you are not allowed to park common domains".

    The park / addon is successful yet the error always appears regardless.

    I'd be interested in knowing if anyone else is experiencing this problem. It happens on all our servers.

    p.s if you are having a different problem, please dont hijack this thread with it.

    IIRC, this bug has been fixed. It was simply using the wrong language key, so it was printing out the wrong message.

    Doesnt seem to have filtered down to the stable tree. I'm moving all our servers onto release this weekend anyway, so I expect that will resolve it.

    make sure the domain you are trying to park does not exist in /etc/vdomainaliases/

    Hi,

    I am also facing some thing. I try to park and it says cannot park and yet still it gets parked.
    This is a problem in cpanel i thought they must be knowing it but its sad that they don't know about it.

    has anyone yet added this to bug thing ?

    Thanks.

    FYI I still get this mostly harmless error message when I try to park a domain and I'm using release tree.
