I did expert install (option 6) from easy apache,

selected all modules, gd, dom, etc. etc. etc. After going through the install (don't see any errors)

apache only has

Code:
System FreeBSD 4.9-STABLE FreeBSD 4.9-STABLE #0: Tue Oct i386
Build Date Mar 15 2005 11:43:29
Configure Command './configure' '--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs' '--with-xml' '--enable-bcmath' '--enable-calendar' '--enable-ftp' '--enable-magic-quotes' '--with-mysql' '--enable-discard-path' '--with-pear' '--enable-sockets' '--enable-track-vars' '--enable-versioning' '--with-zlib'
Tried /scripts/cleangd, updating perl/ updating cpanel to latest current version. Tried option 2, other options from easy apache. No matter what I choose apache is always compiled as per above.

Any thoughts? Anyone else seeing problems with options like GD/domxml/etc not being enabled when using easyapache on fbsd?

Confirmed on FreeBSD 4.9 and 5.3. Easyapache is broken. PHP 4.3.11 cannot be compiled and installed using /scripts/easyapache.

Is there any official fix from cPanel for this issue, or anything for us to try? I can confirm that 4.3.10 and 4.3.11 won't compile other than the base install that was done while cPanel was installed on a 5.3-RELEASE-p15 box.

Exclude the IMAP extension from PHP and you will be able to compile it. But that sucks ... this problem has been live for months and no fix.

Go on, have a guess
That ticket hasn't got any information on it that I can see. You need to post the technical details of exactly what's happening, what's failing and the excerpts from the buildapache logs that show where your problem is.

weeeeee I don't work for cPanel!!! They should check their software and find the bugs and not to wait for their customers to do their work!

If you have such expectations, you're in for a lot of disappointment. You cannot expect software to be bug free, that's unrealistic - it simply never ever happens and never will.

Correct but cPanel should troubleshoot them and not ask me to do that. My machine is not for tests. If they give me free license for my personal computer I will troubleshoot this for the as also many other issues. I will not use production servers for test.

I hope you understand what I mean.
