If you have anything custom in the 'DirectoryIndex' directive in httpd.conf upon recompile you will find these vanish.
Very minor issue really, probably only a very small amount of people actually do this but we have all the php files on a number of sites using a different file extension.
The AddType's were untouched, just the default file on a few domains.
