    Anyone else experiencing errors? The buildapache script appears to be completely screwed up. PHP will not compile, it will consistently give stop errors. This appears to start to happen sometime within the past couple of days.

    Does it still happen if you de-select XMLRPC / Sablot XSLT ?

    I haven't tried, but still this is happening pretty often. I have fixed the script multiple times. Last time the problem was with IMAP. I fixed it, upgraded apache and PHP and now the issue is with Sablot. I wish we didn't have to be fixing these things ourselves :(

    Yep, I feel your pain, it's not good.

    If you add:
    export LDFLAGS="-lstdc++"

    ..somewhere in the buildscript before the php compile then it'll fix this latest problem. Not much of a permanent solution to these problems on a wider scale though :(

    Thanks goal. I was already feeling too lazy to open up the script and start looking around ;)

    Hi,

    Can you tell me how you managed to get Sablot to compile properly? I am getting to the end of buildapache and its not compiling anything new in whilst I have sablot enabled.

    Thanks

    Yes,

    you must edit the /home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/buildscript file and and prepended the following "LDFLAGS=-lstdc++" to these parts.

    export LDFLAGS=-lstdc++
    LDFLAGS=-lstdc++ ./configure --prefix=/usr
    LDFLAGS=-lstdc++ make
    LDFLAGS=-lstdc++ make install

    This was tested on several servers, so you shouldnt have any problem.

    Good Luck

    I am getting both the Sablot and IMAP errors on one server. Will the above fix correct both?

    No, the above is for Sablot.

    What are the IMAP errors?

    Is this a new RHEL box?

    RH 7.3, I don't have the errors with me, it just stops building php with config errors when I use --with-imap and --with-imap-ssl. I will have to post the errors later.

    Well, without the errors is hard to say.

    Check that and copy to here.

    About the fix above, its just to sablot.

    Regards

    Oh, I remember now. It said something about imap not being installed, then I took out the with-imap flags from the config (just to test) and then ran into the Sablot errors.

    Funny thing is, not 10 minutes earlier, I ran buildapache on another RH 7.3 server and it went just fine. I will get the actual error and post it later.

    Thanks for the response.

    Here is the error I get on the php ./configure run:

    checking for crypt in -lcrypt... yes
    checking whether SSL libraries are needed for c-client... /usr/lib
    checking whether IMAP works... no
    configure: error: build test failed. Please check the config.log for details.

    The sablot fix mentioned above.. We don't have a buildscript file in the place mentioned.

    What we do have is the /home/cpapachebuild/ directory but it's empty.

    Any advice?
