I am getting a new server and when I build Apache I always see the choice to "Vhost Alias" what exactly is this?

Is it better to add accounts through the stock set up or is it better to you this feature?

This option in EasyApache refers to the following Apache module:

    For Apache 2.2:
    http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_vhost_alias.html

    For Apache 2.0:
    http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_vhost_alias.html

    For Apache 1.3:
    http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/mod/mod_vhost_alias.html
