Carried out a search and could not find an answer by browsing the past posts.

In my hosts cpanel (scripts library and bulletin board) it only shows phpbb as the one choice of forum software?

I thought YaBB2 was / should be listed as cpanel thought this was secure and were basically against phpBB due to security issues.

Just wondering if this is correct or is it a host issue with the version of cpanel?

If I am asking in the wrong section, please move the post

    many thanks

The scripts library is configurable by your host provider. if they removed yaBB2, you need to speak with them.

Of course, as long as you have the avaialble resources in your account, you can install and bb softwawre you want.
