I have a machine that when setting up an account does make a bytes_log entry in httpd so thus it does not show or measure bw.

All accounts setup have this problem.

What would cause this?

I think bytes_log is NOT a default selection in the builapache.sea cpanel provides (on layer 1) It might have been in the past, but I don't think it is any longer.

And I don't think it is instilled by default in the fp-5.0-upgrade (no choices) self extractor, either.

So, just rebuild with buildapache.sea and make sure you select it- if this is a new system like it appears, you should have no problem at all.

This is not a new build... a few weeks old with accounts on it... just recently new accounts stopped adding it.

So you mean after the updates you mention below it stopped adding those entries? How does WHM monitor bandwidth then?
