When is it preferable to use MMapFile over CacheFile? I have some static images that are served throughout my website and I think it would be helpful to cache them. I've done some reading on the subject, but was curious about feedback from someone working in a similar server environment.

    Hello,

The "Specialized File Caching" section of the following Apache document is a good place to start if you haven't already read it:

    http://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/caching.html

I'll leave this thread open for additional user-feedback from anyone with experience using both methods.

    Thanks!
