I'm wondering if it is possible to user an Add-on domain without the Cpanel system creating DNS entries on the ISP DNS server (on a per-account basis)?

My problem is at my ISP, I have added my domain (in this example, as an add-on domain. In reality, the primary/secondary DNS servers are NOT with my ISP (we host our own DNS). However, cPanel is assuming that it is to host DNS for it. This has all sorts of negative side effects, such as any hosts in my domain ( cannot be seen by my webhost, and worse than that is any other domains not on cPanel that use my own DNS server, which is in the domain (, are not recognized AT ALL by my web host.

Is it possible at all, either for an end-user or ISP to get cPanel to work under this configuration?
