I have a friend that has his website hosted elsewhere, but needs email hosting. Is it possible to setup a cpanel account that will only host his email and not his website?

    Thanks.

Create the account and apply only the features you want allowed to that account (no ftp, no mysql, etc). Also, create (if necessary) a special feature package (in whm, feature manager) to customize a mail only setting. You can also apply the "mail" theme to spice it up lol ;)

this would work fine. You could just use the MailX theme, BUT the user could still access FTP, and Filemanager and all that. There just isant a link to it on cPanel WebInterface
