    SPAM, how to beat it

Firstly, please forgive me for posting here if this is wrong of me - I am only a reseller with an situation that may not even be cpanel related - I'm not sure.

Many of my hosting domains are having their "contact us/feedback" forms hijacked, people go to their page and somehow attach thousands of Bcc's to it.

Next there are thousands of bounced return email being received by my hosting accounts. While this is a nasty problem the real cause is the sending of them in the first place.

I have replaced all forms on all of my hosting domain sites as a service to them with a mail cgi script that is hard coded.

My question is can cPanel or the mail system connected with cPanel limit the outgoing quantity of emails through monitoring the "To", "Cc" and "Bcc" fields.

I know this is perhaps a stupid question but I'm desperate to find an answer for the problem my hosting domains are facing.

Incidently, as a reseller, the cPanel system is absolutely first class.

    Sorry, one last thing.

To automatically delete all incoming unrouted email do you type in :

    blackhole
    or
    :blackhoe
    or
    :blackhole:

Not quite sure about the colans.

    Thank you very much.

The cgiemail forms were fixed a few months ago so that they can only email the user.

so is the included form handler with cpanel now safe to use? Did cpanel automatically update the ones on the server if that was the case?

    Thanks,
