Can i delete public_html folder default files?

HI, I'm new to this forum as well as an adminstrator at root lever for my new dedicated server.I recently allocated "UNLIMITED" hosting to one of client domain. then the cpanel public_html folder containes the following files. let me, can i proceed to delete except cgi_bin directory?

yes, you can delete all file / folder under public_html directory.
If you are feeling unsafe, make a backup of these files before deleting.

Hello

Those files are associated with FrontPage extensions. You may want to uninstall FrontPage extensions for the account before deleting those files.
