Hello,

I was wondering if i could add my own header into all outgoing exim mail? For example put the username in an extra Anti abuse header?

If not is there any way that EXIM is able to give a hint to which user it came from? This would be greatly appreciated as it would mean that looking for spammer is far easier.

Many thanks

I don\'t know about the custom header. But all exim configuration is done from the /etc/exim.conf file.

To find out who sent it you could just look at the headers of the email message... that\'s a start anyway.

Thanks but the thing is that the users on our server could spam a lot and they hide their real address :( It makes it a lot harder to see who did it, especially since the headers say: sent by [email protected]

:( thanks anyway

You'll need to install suexec if you want usernames to appear.

Thankyou
