    hi all

i have been using cPanel for about 2 years now and i always face some problems which i would like you to tell me how to solve!!!

    well ,

first i registered a hosting with cPanel and we suffer of SPAM (most of it porn messages about Viegra and other things) i have enabled SPAMASSAIN but still nothing is changed , of course i cant enable SPAM TRAPER cuze most of the users would have a difficulty when dealing with it.

other thing , when i send messages to a Yahoo!!! E-mail , it is sent to the SPAM BOX (JUNK or BULK) - these messages are very important mostly about tenders and other financial issues so they better get to the indox folder.

i have also a problem making a direct login box to the mail potal.

thats all i guess mostly about MAIL ....

by the way is there is places where free WHM accounts are distributed with free reseller spaces in GBz ..... is that possible or mostly paid resellers ????

u c am planning to make my own reseller host lol:)

    thanx in advance....

Are you using Perl 5.8.8? If you are not using Perl 5.8.8, upgrade immediately. Older versions of Perl usually result in a non-functional SpamAssassin.

Using domain keys and SPF records will assist in ensuring mail gets delivered to free mail providers. However, Yahoo seems to be a difficulty provider to deal with, as is Hotmail and AOL. Search the forums for details.

A simple email to yahoo, hotmail telling them to greylist you domain is easily done. I have done this without issue.

I am not fond of using exim's experimental SPF, Domainkey support but it is there, you must recompile with domainkeys etc.. once that is done yahoo, hotmail will allow your email without issue.

You may wish to submit a support ticket so someone can troubleshoot and correct that situation.

I see the Domain Keys option listed in cpanel 11. Do I simply enable in the control panel to begin using it? Or is there something more that needs to be done? (bsdjunk mentions "recompiling"... not sure how to do that.. hmmm...)

    Thanks in advance.

You must recompile Exim with this support as it's still experimental, I myself am waiting for it to be more stable before I implement it as I am getting frustrated with my emails turning up in Spam folders.

I have emailed Hotmail, AOL, and Yahoo and have gotten this dealt with without issue. If you are polite and give them all the info they require they will greylist your domain, without the need of recompiling Exim with Domainkeys even though this makes for a much better email server.

    My few cents.
