    Hi,

    I have a VPS, and 6 sites to be on it.

    My question is:
    Is it better to have a dns zone (Nameserver ) and make all the websites use that one?

    Can I have a Nameserver per website (like ns1.site1.com, ns1.site2.com,..)
    If so how can it be done?

    Thanks

    Hello :)

    Either method is acceptable, but it's likely easier to maintain consistency in the DNS Zone by using the same name servers for each website. The following thread should help you get started:

    Tutorial - Setting Up Name Servers

    Thank you.

    Per website is possible but would be time consuming setting it up per website unless you only have 6 websites and don't plan to add more. You would simple setup glue records at each of your domains registras like so:

    domain1.com
    ns1.domain1.com -> X.X.X.X
    ns2.domain2.com -> X.X.X.X

    repeat for each domain using the same IP address for ns1 and ns2 each time.
