can I install cpanel in cloud vps?

I am going to buy a cloud vps with following spec

1 Gig memory and cpu is 3 core
I will add more memory later

Will that work on cloud vps?

Is there any thing I need to be aware of?

Yes, You can install cPanel with the above configuration, Once it's done please make sure all port are enable for your VM.
