Can I install CPanel on a Mail Server

    Hi, can I install CPanel on an existing linux mail server without affecting the mail server and it's mail accounts... Thanks sorry for the newbie question new to cpanel...

    nope ..well it might be possible. But cPanel is at the point where it's almost a hosting operating system in itself. You really need to start with a fresh server OS install and the cPanel installer will do the rest. You could take down the box install a new drive and slave the other one and use it to migrate data over. The best bet would be a separate server migration where you have cPanel ready and running on a new machine and then you migrate the domains and email accounts over.
