We have an unusual request from one of our customers who is also a car dealer. (We have several dealerships - this is the only one asking for this).

They have asked us to rewrite subject lines and insert a warning message in each email that comes from an outside domain. They want it to look like this:

From: Sender <[email protected]>
Sent: Tuesday, February 22, 2022 5:42 PM
To: Customer <[email protected]>
Subject: [EXTERNAL]I want to buy a car

CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.
[sender]<https://outsidedomain.tld>

1. Has anybody seen requests like this?
2. Can this be implemented in any way in cPanel?

Hey there! How about the details outlined here?

Can you check that over and see if that is what you need?

Please, has anyone been able to accomplish this?

I need to have [EXTERNAL] or **EXTERNAL** added to the Subject of incoming emails not sent from the server or localdomain, if either is possible. Similar as spamassassin marks spam emails in the subject line **SPAM**

Trying to avoid users from clicking on links from spoofed emails that appear to come from their domain with forged from address.

Greatly Appreciated
