Can not access WHM Panel

Hi,

I have an active cPanel subscription. And WHM & cPanel were set up properly as there are currently 3 websites on it. The issue is that I can not access whm via https://mpip:2087 as usual. The weird thing is that the websites are accessible. I need to create a new cPanel account this time.

Error message:

This site can’t be reached
23.***.***.** refused to connect.

Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Things i have done:

1. restart the server
2. restart cpanel
3. netstat -lnp (2087 port not found)
4. service stop iptables (Unit iptables.service not loaded)
5. SELINUX disabled
6. Ping IP address is OK

I take it then you're able to access the server via SSH. Are you running a firewall of any sort? What is the output when you run the following:

/scripts/restartsrv_cpsrvd --restart --hard

There is something wrong with the input and output system.

Cpanel::Exception::IO::RenameError/(XID 6nxu6h)
because of an error: Input/output error

And the issue was fixed by during to file system check with fsck
