We took over a company who uses Cpanel. I logged in yesterday to the example.com/cpanel and made an A name change to redirect it to our current website. It redirected it but shut down all of the emails and now I can not get back into the log in side. That also redirects to our website. Please help our emails are down and that is not good for business.

Hmm, are you sure the domain name you mentioned (now removed from your post) is correct?

It works if I add an h to it after the p.

Yes I know it works. The problem is I can not get back into the Cpanel login page. When I type that it sends me to the published website. Not the area I can log into.

You might try using the server IP address to get in: 123.45.678:2087 for WHM, 123.45.678:2083 for cPanel.

We use sitey as our web host but their IP address doesn't with :2083 or 87 does not open the log in.

You might want to contact your WebHost and speak with them about this.

So there is no other way to log into example.com/cpanel? Or anyway to reset it?
