Just received my new server but I am unable to get admin account running for fantastico. I ordered server with rehat with whm/cpanel & fantastico. How can I check to see if they installed fantastico on my system? I set up a admin account (friendly) in whm with everything set to unlimited. I then login with ssh root, type in:

    cd /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x
    then press enter

    type in:

    chown -R friendly:friendly fantastico
    then press enter

    I get this:
failed to get attributes of `fantasico' : no such file or directory

These are the directions that were sent to me from the server company.

    Thanks

Well the easyest way is to login to WHM and look in the Feature Manager and see if it's in there.

    Thanks

    Go on, have a guess
TBH, you're probably best off following the installation instructions on the fantastico site and asking in their forums.
