Is it possible to upgrade phpmyadmin without having to wait for DarkOrb to included it in a new build?

If so, are there any specific steps I need to take?

One of my customers has reported a bug in 2.2.7 pl1 with selecting data.

    Thanks

One way is to install another instance of phpadmin in the customers home and protect it with .htaccess.
